Cognate with Hebrew חָצַף (khatsáf).

חֲצַף • (ḥăṣap̄)

  1. to peel off, bare
  2. (figuratively) to be barefaced, i.e. to be impudent, arrogant
    • Targum on Proverbs 7:13
      וְאַתְקְּפַת בֵּיהּ וּנְשַׁקְתֵּיהּ וְאַחְצִפַת אַפָּהָא וַאֲמַרַת לֵיהּ:
      She takes hold of him and kisses him; and boldy [bared her face] she says to him
