- (obsolete) A vestibule, foyer, anteroom.
- Tanach, Judges 3:23, with translation of the King James Version:
- וַיֵּצֵא אֵהוּד הַמִּסְדְּרוֹנָה וַיִּסְגֹּר דַּלְתוֹת הָעַלִיָּה בַּעֲדוֹ וְנָעָל׃
- vayetzé ehúd hamisd'róna vayisgór d'latót ha'aliyá ba'adó v'na'ál.
