  1. To tilt: to slope or incline (something); to slant.
    העץ נטה לכיוון החצר שלנו.
    ha'éts natá lekivún hakhatsér shelánu.
    The tree tilted towards our yard.
  2. (figuratively) To tend: to have a tendency.
    הוא נוטה לבחור במפלגות ימניות.
