      קֵץ בָּא בָּא הַקֵּץ הֵקִיץ אֵלָיִךְ הִנֵּה בָּאָה׃
      kets ba, ba hakets, hekits eláyikh hiné ba'a.
      An end is come, the end is come, it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh.
    • a. 500 C.E., Babylonian Talmud. Pesachim, 56a:
      בִּיקֵּשׁ יַעֲקֹב לְגַלּוֹת לְבָנָיו קֵץ הַיָּמִין, וְנִסְתַּלְּקָה מִמֶּנּוּ שְׁכִינָה.
      Bikésh Ya'akóv l'galót l'vanáv kéts hayamín, v'nistalká miménu sh'khiná.
