  1. (intransitive, hapax legomenon) to hastely rise
    • 14th Century, anonymous author, Dresden Manuscript: Kitāb-ı Dedem Ḳorḳud Alā Lisān-ı Tāife-i Oġuzān:
      اورلشبن صولر طاشسه دكز طولمز
      örleşüben sular daşsa deŋiz dolmaz
      [even] if the waters rose and spilled the sea wouldn't fill up
