فیض
Persian
Etymology
Borrowed from Arabic فَيْض (fayḍ, “flood, overflow, abundance”). From the use for the abundance of God’s powers, treasures and gifts, the word develops the sense “grace” (already in Arabic, but less widely used than in Persian).
