  1. nectar, honey, tree sap; any sweet substance produced by a plant
  2. alcohol; any intoxicant, recreational drug
  3. (by extension, figurative) youth, juvenility (in relation to its stupor, wantonness, ecstasy or other drug-like qualities)
  4. pride, arrogance, conceit
