Etymology
From پرده (perde, “curtain”) + ـلنمك (-lenmek, suffix forming passive infinitives from stems ending in front vowels).

پردهلنمك • (perdelenmek)
- (intransitive) to be curtained or encurtained, to become covered with a curtain or veil
- (intransitive, of the eye) to become clouded or affected with cataract, leucoma, albugo, etc.
