Usage notes

The Isan definition of จัง being a grammatical modifier generally has two ways of writing: จัง & จั่ง, with both having the same meaning. Combining the adverb /จั่ง with ใด(which, any, or who) produces the word/question how(จังใด also written จั่งใด), while combining with ซี้(that) makes the phrase "like this" (จังซี้/จั่งซี้) and with ซั้น(that) makes the phrase "like that" (จังซั้น/จั่งซั้น).
