འབྲས་ལྗོངས ('bras ljongs)

1. Sikkim (a state in eastern India)

2. (historical) Sikkim (a former country in South Asia that existed from the 17th century until its annexation by India in 1975)

འབྲས ('bras, “rice”) +‎ ལྗོངས (ljongs, “valley”), literally “rice valley”.

     The last king of Sikkim, Palden Namgyal, has three children in total from his first marriage: Princes Tenzing and Wangchuk, and Princess Yangchen.
