စော်ကား
Burmese
Etymology
Though treated by MED as an atomic unit, a surface analysis as စော် (cau, “stench”) + ကား (ka:, “to spread out”) appears plausible, i.e. "to spread out a disagreeable smell" > "to air out one's annoyances" > "to insult".
