  1. Used to connect words of similar meaning when the next word clarifies, specifies the previous one; that is, i.e.
    დასჭირდება 60 წუთი, ანუ 1 საათი.
    dasč̣irdeba 60 c̣uti, anu 1 saati.
    It will take 60 minutes, i.e. an hour.
