ἀριστεύς • (aristeús) m (genitive ἀριστέως); third declension

the best man; chief, victor, champion (a winner of first prize or first place in competition)
the bravest man/best man in valor; champion (someone who fights on another's behalf)

The declension is the standard one for nouns in -εύς.
