Ἀντικύθηρα
Ancient Greek
Etymology
From ᾰ̓ντῐ- (ăntĭ-, “not”) + Κῠ́θηρᾰ (Kŭ́thēră, “Cythera, Kythira”), so named because the island is near Kythira's location but it is not Kythira.
