From *wrāhi-, whence also ῥᾶ (rhâ, “easily”), of undetermined etymology followed by a suffixed *-gʷy-o-s, from Proto-Indo-European *gʷey- (“force”) (whence also βία (bía, “violence, force”)).[1]
