ⴰⵥⵓⵔ

- ⴰⵥⵓⵕ (aẓuṛ)
Etymology
From Proto-Berber. Further etymology is unsure. Possibly from Proto-Afroasiatic and cognate with Proto-Semitic *šurš-. A borrowing from Punic 𐤔𐤓 (šr /šur/) known from Greek transcription to have this shape might also have this outcome although a sibilant s or š is more expected in that case.
