Variant of ワロス (warosu), ワラタ (warata), from 笑う (warau, “laugh”), apparently with a pseudo-French ending -inne. Included in the Japanese Yearbook of Contemporary Basic Vocabulary (現代用語の基礎知識) from 2019,[1] likely attested in online communication or speech much earlier.
