Etymology

From Belarusian Беларусь (Bjelarusʹ). Promulgated by the Belarusian embassy in China on 16 March 2018 but not officially recognized by either the Chinese (PRC) or Taiwanese (ROC) governments. Based on the idea that 俄羅斯 / 俄罗斯 (Éluósī) refers to Russia while 羅斯 / 罗斯 (Luósī) refers to the historical state of Rus.
