1. (impersonal) to have fog or mist appear

2. (intransitive) to fog up

   • 因為山區温濕度變化大，所以可將暖暖包或懷爐綁附在鏡頭旁邊，讓鏡頭的温度高於環境温度，再用防水相機包布包覆在相機鏡頭上，這樣鏡頭就不會起霧了。 [MSC, trad.]

     Because the temperature and humidity fluctuates a lot in mountainous areas, we can tie a hand warmer beside the lens, so that the temperature of the lens would be higher than the temperature of the environment, and then we can cover the camera lens with a waterproof camera wrapping cloth. Then, the lens would not fog up.
