Usage notes
Koreans, including university professors, often confuse the term 학문(學問) (hangmun, “academic discipline”) with its homonym 학문(學文) (hangmun, “academic literature”), so when they want to write the term 學問 (“academic discipline”) in Chinese characters, nine times out of ten, they mistakenly write the term 學文 (“academic literature”) instead.
