Mycenaean Greek

Etymology

Most commonly analysed as ฯ„ฯฮฏฯ‚ (trรญs, โ€œthriceโ€) +โ€Ž แผฅฯฯ‰ฯ‚ (hแธ—rลs, โ€œheroโ€). Perhaps a predecessor to the Considering the offerings, it was likely a deity of minor importance.
