Usage notes

  • Although most often the substance counted is implicit, in PY Fr 1223 and Fr 1240 it is explicitely called ๐€๐€จ๐€บ (e-ra-wo, โ€œolive oilโ€), with Fr 1223 even clarifying ๐€ธ๐€€๐€ฉ๐€Ÿ (we-a-re-pe, โ€œfor anointingโ€), and in Fr 1225 it is called ๐€€๐€ซ๐€ž (a-ro-pa, โ€œointmentโ€). It came in different scents, attestedly sage or rose, and great amounts of it seem to have been used during rituals.
