Pronoun
π’ β’ (zeβ /ze/) (before genitive, dative, comitative markers π (za))
- you, thou (second-person independent personal pronoun)
Usage notes
- π’ (zeβ /β zeβ /) becomes π (za) when followed by a case marker that contains the vowel /a/, i.e. genitive /ak/, dative /ra/, or comitative case /da/.
- The final vowel /e/ becomes /Δ/ before the enclitic copula, and it is often indicated by the plene spelling, e.g.:
- π’ππ¨ πΊπ½ππ πΆπ¨ β zeβ-e-me maΕ‘kim-a-neβ αΈ«eβ-me /zΔmen maΕ‘kimane αΈ«Δmen/ β You yourself should be his commissioner.
