Usage notes

  • The copula -이다 (-ida) gets the form -이려나 (-i-ryeona) or -려나 (-ryeona) (after vowels), e.g.:
    취미는 뭐예요?
    취미? 으음, 사진이려나.
    Chwimi-neun mwo-yeyo?
    Chwimi? eueum, sajin-i-ryeona.
    What's your hobby?
    Hobby? Hmm, photography, I suppose.
    아마도 다음엔 아이슬란드 혹은 호주려나.
