• The suffix takes the form -mər/mar before the first-person suffixes -əm (which in this case takes the form -m) and -ik.
  • ‎get- + ‎-məz + ‎əm → ‎getmərəm (“I do/will not go”)
  • ‎bil- + ‎-məz + ‎-ik → ‎bilmərik (“we do/will not know”)
