Literally, it's always summer, from ahéé- (“around in a circle”) + hi- (seriative prefix indicating around and around) + -shį́į́h (momentaneous imperfective stem of root -ZHĮ́, “to become summer”) (compare shį́ (“summer”)); and hahoodzo (“an area is marked out with a line around it”).
