Bragg's law

Bragg diffraction was first proposed by Lawrence Bragg and his father William Henry Bragg in 1913.

Bragg's law

1. (physics) A law that equates the angle ${\displaystyle (\theta )}$ between the incident and scattered ray to the spacing ${\displaystyle (d)}$ between the crystal planes and the wavelength ${\displaystyle (\lambda )}$ of the radiation - ${\displaystyle n\lambda =2d\sin(\theta )\,}$
