  1. A coastal village and suburb in City of Edinburgh council area, Scotland, at the mouth of the River Almond (OS grid ref NT1876).

      For at least 1,800 years Cramond has stood at the mouth of the River Almond, which forms Edinburgh's western border. But the village - with its trim, whitewashed houses and small yachting harbour - is quite distinct from the city.
