  • Precedes a description of a situation, or follows on online post or a text message, suggesting that the material being referred to elicited a certain facial expression from the writer (disgusted, upset, envious, etc.). Usually also accompanied by an Internet meme graphic, or an emoji or other emoticon, of a humorous face illustrating the expressed emotion.
