Etymology

Australian rugby league coach and former player Mal Meninga announced he would run as a conservative independent candidate in the Molonglo electorate in the 2001 Australian Capital Territory general election. After being asked why he was standing for election in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), he pulled out mid-sentence, after approximately 28 seconds of being interviewed.
