Etymology
From Akkadian [script needed] (Muški) Possibly identified with the Phrygians,[1] but theorized by some to be a tribe of Proto-Armenian or Kartvelian origin.[2] More at Mushki.
Cognate with Biblical Hebrew מֶשֶׁךְ (Mešeḵ). Compare Latin Moschi.
