Proper noun
- A taxonomic species within the family Blaberidae – Australian wood cockroach, found from south east Queensland south to the east coast to Tasmania, also seen at Norfolk Island.
Usage notes
There is another cockroach (Panesthia australis) with the common name "Australian wood cockroach".
