Patsho

Khiamniungan Naga

Etymology

Patsho—etymologically denoting a congregated settlement—traces its origins to the Khiamniungan diaspora. The community underwent a phased migration: Their migratory continuum included an interlude at Lümuoking , then establishing their eponymic settlement in present-day Patsho. Subsequently, population pressures precipitated a bifurcated dispersal—southward trajectories followed by northeastern expansion.
