Reconstruction:Proto-Nakh/keᶰ
Proto-Nakh
Etymology
(This etymology is missing or incomplete. Please add to it, or discuss it at the Etymology scriptorium.)
Reconstruction notes
In the Ingush form there is a variation -н (-n) ~ -м (-m), but it is not clear what this is connected with. As a result, the reconstruction is not entirely clear, since the Proto-Nakh *-eᶰ should have produced the Ingush -и (-i), and the nasalization should have disappeared. Compare with *xеᶰ, *diᶰ, *c̣e and *de.
Noun
*keᶰ (stem *ke-)
Descendants
