Reconstruction:Proto-West Germanic/taigōn
Proto-West Germanic
Etymology
Possibly from *taigā (“determination, designation”) + *-ōn. Kroonen suggests an iterative origin; if so it's inherited from Proto-Germanic *taikōną ~ *taigōną.[1]
