In this sign and many related ones, the tips of the two extended fingers represent the eyes.

Production

  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “V” handshape just below the dominant eye, dominant palm facing back.
    2. Move the hand forward.
    3. Posture the dominant hand in the “V” handshape several inches in front of the face, dominant palm facing back.
