bủh

Vietnamese

Etymology

In the Telex input method, mistyping bruh as burh produces "bủh". Riffs off the preexisting borrowing bro, which itself flouts Vietnamese spelling rules. Popularized by the meme Bruh.[1] Ultimately a shortening of English brother from African-American Vernacular English.
