Etymology

From bush (“forested or scrubby area of Australia”) +‎ pee (“an act of urination”); this is the way one urinates when camping or travelling in the bush. The form bush wee was popularised (both inside and outside of Australia) by the Australian children's TV series Bluey (2018).
