Etymology
Alternation of Camàldula, from Italian Camaldoli, village in Italy where the Camaldolese monastic order is headquartered. The Camaldolese monk Michael of Florence was the originator of the Crown Chaplet of Our Lord, which consists of thirty-three paternosters.
