Blend of ciao +‎ hello, popularised a greeting said by Inaba Meguru (因幡巡) in the game《魔女的夜宴》by YUZUSOFT, released 27th February 2015 (21st July 2023 as for the Chinese version).

     ciallo这个梗经常出现在各大番剧的评论区中，当番剧迷在观看动漫时，会在评论区输入“ciallo”与其他番剧迷进行交流互动，或者转发“ciallo”的表情包用以问好。

     The ciallo meme often appears in the comment sections of major anime series. When fans are watching anime, they will type "ciallo" in the comment section to interact with other fans, or forward the "ciallo" emoticon package to say hello.

     Qíshí Ciallo~kěyǐ dú chéng “chìlǎo!”

     Actually, you could read "ciallo" as chìlǎo!
