While the usage of this adverb is acceptable, a structure using epäillä (“to suspect”) as a verb is generally preferred, unless doing so makes the sentence structure significantly more complicated.
- Hän on epäillysti rikkonut lakia. → Hänen epäillään rikkoneen lakia.
- He has suspectedly broken the law. → He is suspected to have broken the law.
