ice delivery door (plural ice delivery doors)

  1. (architecture, historical) A small exterior door to a house that opens to a built-in icebox (cold food storage unit cooled by ice) ice container compartment, so that the ice delivery man can place fresh ice directly into the ice container in an ice box.
