  1. (dialectal) alternative form of jaitsi (to descend)
    Sabaitik behera jausten dira lasterka.
    They run down from the hayloft.
    Mutiko gaztea Tolosako garan jautsi zen.
    The young boy got off at Toulouse station.

Usage notes

Used mainly in Upper Navarrese and Lower Navarrese/Lapurdian dialects.[2]
