Etymology
From Ottoman Turkish موجودیت, equivalent to Arabic مَوْجُود (mawjūd) + ـِيَّة (-iyya) but possibly a pseudo-Arabic formation in Ottoman Turkish or Persian. By surface analysis, mevcut + -iyet.
