Usage notes
- Note that the comparative and superlative forms are in fact forms of the synonymous adverb mieluusti; mielellään itself has no such forms.
Inflection
mielellään is inflected in the person of whom it refers to. In colloquial Finnish, this is not always observed: *Autan sinua mielellään is not uncommon, but it is considered nonstandard and ungrammatical.
