- bērniem, kuriem agrāk bijusi laba dzirde, pēc histērijas lēkmes pēkšņi iestājas abpusēja nedzirdība; turklāt tikpat pēkšņi kā zudusi, dzirde atkal atjaunojas ― children who had good hearing after fits of histeria suddenly had complete deafness on both sides; then, just as suddenly as it disappeared, the hearing came back
