nonstandard unit (plural nonstandard units)
- (sciences) A unit of measurement that is not part of a standardized system such as the International System of Units.
- (military) A military force that is not part of the standard, deployable units of a service or branch.
- (US, military) A force requirement that is identified in a time-phased force and deployment data for which movement characteristics have not yet been described.
