Etymology

From pa- +‎ giba +‎ -ng- +‎ damara, literally shed for demolition. Some farmers build a shed as a protection from the sun or rain during planting and harvesting seasons. After the harvesting time, the farmers demolish the shed as they celebrate together for the bountiful harvest.
