Borrowed from Latin Pantheon, itself borrowed from Ancient Greek Πάνθειον (Pántheion, “a temple of all gods”), neuter of πάνθειος (pántheios, “of or common to all gods”), from πᾶν (pân, “all, everything”) + θείος (theíos, “of or for the gods”), from θεός (theós, “god”).
