From Spanish redondilla. Doublet of rondelle.

- (poetry) An early verse form in which the first and fourth and the second and third lines of the stanza generally rhymed.
- (poetry) In later Spanish use, a verse of six and eight syllables in general, whether making perfect rhymes or assonances only.
